Mahsoo Naderi for West Vancouver

I am a Professional Engineer and senior leader with more than 20 years of experience delivering complex projects and managing essential public infrastructure. Today, I serve as Director of Operations at BCIT, leading technical operations across five campuses to serve over 45,000 students every year. Previously, as Director of Engineering Projects for the City of Burnaby, I led major municipal infrastructure and development projects. Earlier in my career, I worked with Stantec and Colliers, managing large-scale  initiatives across Western Canada.

  • Board Member, West Vancouver Police Board — appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council of British Columbia
  • Elected Board Member, Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
  • Former Councillor, Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)

West Vancouver is the community my family and I call home. As a resident and a mother of two, I am grateful for the quality of life we enjoy here and deeply invested in its future. I want to bring my experience in engineering, municipal government, financial oversight and governance to help make thoughtful decisions today that will keep West Vancouver strong, sustainable and livable for generations to come.
